Documentos militares confidenciais pertencentes ao governo dos Estados Unidos foram publicados hoje pelo WikiLeaks, revelando dados sobre a situação militar no Afeganistão. A divulgação destes 90 mil documentos ameaça a segurança nacional, segundo o governo norte americano.
O Wikileaks* protagoniza a que é considerada a maior fuga de informação militar de sempre, apresentando informações confidenciais e operações secretas sobre a guerra contra os talibãs no Afeganistão e no Paquistão.
O Wikileaks** que, segundo a Time, could become as important a journalistic tool as the Freedom of Information Act, já divulgou mais de um milhão de documentos secretos, funcionando como um arquivo online de fugas de informação.
